Flume's flood risk consultants have expertise in flood mitigation involves designing and implementing measures to reduce flood risk. We begin by conducting a thorough Flood Risk Assessment - proposing effective solutions, and ensuring strict adherence to local regulations and industry best practices. As part the proposed solutions, flood compensation can be an effective flood mitigation measure to respond to the challenges of building in Flood Zone 2 or Flood Zone 3. Our designs include features to manage and compensate for flood water, safeguarding the proposed development, minimising flood damage, while improving the flood resistance and resilience measures of this proposed development. Importantly, our approach ensures approval from the relevant regulatory agencies, such as the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities.
